when is the average age of when you are able to get your tounsils out?

They are not supposd to come out - we don't come with removeable parts (except baby teeth I guess). The tonsils are a strong line of defense to keep illness out of the body. I was about 4 when I had mine out , I think around five would be average . My wife still has hers though at 43 . .

Any age. Depending on how sick you are or how big they are. I got mine out summer of 2nd grade, and I'm in 8th now. Let me tell you, NOT FUN! =]

they are not supose to come out, they are part of your body..part of your immune system..they are there for a reason
