I am planning to buy an MP3 player, my problem is I don't want to buy an iPod ( it's way over priced). Is there any alternatives that are just as good as the iPod, not over $200CDN?

I love my Creative mp3 player... it's small, simple, durable, easy on batteries and relatively cheap.

If you're in the market for something more upscale with more memory, I bought my wife a 40gb Samsung player. It holds thousands of songs, plus pictures, movies and games. She loves it.

Check out the user reviews. Plays formats an iPod won't play. Runs a long time on a single AA, you can also use a rechargeable AA.

They also make hard drive models but they're over your price.
