I'm intrigued to know how far the police insistence on evidence extends. If, for example, I went to the police saying I had been drink-driving, but by the time I went to the station my blood alcohol level was normal, would they prosecute me?
Or if I went to them with something I'd nicked from a shop and confessed, would they do me for theft?
Is a confession alone enough, and if not why not? Answers from police or similar welcome!

I seem to be constantly thirsty and have had changes to my eye sight. Both of these have come on gradually over the past year or so but the constant thirst is beginning to get annoying. I had a diabetes test about a year ago which was negative. Should I see my doctor about this or not? I don't want to go if I will be just wasting their time. What does anyone think?

well they're blue, and they have flecks of gold and a hazel-ish circle near the pupil. But they change colors during the day. they turn: grey, icy blue, sea green, aquamarine, and then they turn hazel. The overall color is the only thing that changes, the flecks and that circle stays.

and do you know what type of eyeshadow and techniques that makes eyes appear larger?

I always see questions on this forum, directed at atheists, in which we are asked something like "if God didn't create everything, then tell us how exactly the Universe came to existence?"

Let's assume a God did it. For me that just doesn't cover it. _How_ did God create the universe? What material did He use? He used dust to create humans, but from what material did He create planets? And animals? From where did He get all the materials that He used?

If the answer is "God did it", please describe exactly how He did it. Thanks in advance.

Some liberals have been answering conservative's questions with, "Quit blindly following what Fox News tells you." Basically saying that conservatives don't have a rational thought of their own and just repeat what is fed to them on a news channel.

I watched Countdown last week and noticed that during the show some of the liberals that accused conservatives of not thinking for themselves were asking questions that directly coincided with what was on MSNBC. Could that have been a coincidence?
