There are lots of different hair removal products and methods. The only pain-free method I know of is bleaching. It doesn't remove the hair, but lightens it to make it less noticeable. A more expensive option is laser treatments.

I've included some websites below that should be helpful. The first is a list of hair removal products, the next is a site with warnings about certain products, and the last is a consumer report on laser treatments.

If you don't absolutely need to do anything to it, don't. Most women have some facial hair and most guys are OK with girls who have a slight moustache.

If you really feel you must to something about it, I'm afraid, despite what so many people say, there isn't a simple answer.

Facial hair on girls comes about in the same way as on boys because of

1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many

2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that

* Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.

* Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.

* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.

never pluck, enormously around the decrease face. I were doing it for years and that i spotted that the hair exchange into getting darker, greater obdurate and coarser (some strays yet not all of the hair). I have been given informed this a month in the past and that's real. So i propose you wax. do not use cream it unfold the hair from the place you have it to aspects you do not. in case you stopped utilising the cream you could have an entire grown beard! additionally the cream does not final that long. Plucking and waxing lasts longer yet waxing is the appropriate by far in all aspects. You pluck the eyebrows simply by fact the they are much less possibly to unfold everywhere. additionally that's not significant if the hair is coarse that's meant to be.

I would go for lazer, if you wish a non-painful solution. The results would also be defenitive. It takes a couple of weeks only :) The prices for facial hair should be between 100-200$ but then, you'd be done for life ! The hair would never grow back.

Some people (girls mostly) use wax. It's painful, but it does the job. I'd still go for the laser though. Efficient and incredible results :)

And PLEASE, if you're a girl, DO NOT shave it ! It will grow back... and worse ! Darker and spiky... I'm sure it's not what you want haha ;)

you can always pluck or wax. plucking is not exactly the easiest or most effective way to to it, because sometimes the hair does not get pulled out, just broken. waxing is a good way to take care of the sittuation pro is that is less painful than plucking one by one, con is that some skin gets removed allong with the hair. you can use the veet or nair type cream hair removers, but they often do not work well or almost always leave some sort of reaction. there is also the option of lazer hair removing. this may hurt more, but the hair is gueranteed to never come back.
good luck!

Men shave them.

For female laser and chemicals, both can be pain less if done right if not very painful. Skin test on very small area is a good practise to follow, repeat application may be required.

I normally shave with gel and a razor. Saying that, I have a beard at the moment, haven't shaved for four weeks.
