Hi,
I need major fashion advice. I will be attending the wedding of my dad and his wonderful fiance. The wedding will be held in New York City next week at 4:00pm. This wedding is so special because two years ago I was reunited with my dad after years or searching for him. I last saw him when I was 5 years old (I'm 34 now). It turned out to be a wonderful reunion that you would only see in fairy tales and we've spent the last two years catching up and taking trips to see each other. As part of the ceremony, I will be called to the altar to accept my grandmother's favorite ring (she died about 3 years before I found my dad). I have NO idea what to wear. I don't know much about how to dress in NYC much less for a wedding in NYC. Any advice or links to suggested pictures would be so very much appreciated.

I have a girlfriend I'll call Barb. She calls me up all hours and talks so much about such insignificant things. I've endured her for sometime now. She likes to talk about herself, but doesn't want to hear about what is happening with me. I called her up, as I admit I do sometimes, to tell her something exciting that happened to me, and she hung up, never apologizing. Thought we got disconnected..so tried back. Got her answering..she would not take my recall. After a few days she just offered an excuse of feeling like she was going to pass out. I've been ignoring her big time lately. so i have known this guys for a while now and me and him are pretty good friends the only thing is that whenever we hang out we like snuggle and stuff like that. Hes a really forward guy and is kinda like that with everyone but hes more around me(or thats what my friends have said). It hasnt really gone any farther then snuggling, well a bit but i dont no if he like likes me and doesnt no how to tell me or hes just fooling around. This guy and i have been friends for over 3 years. He liked me, but i was still stuck on an ex. We then became best friends and well from there we have grew a friendship like nothing other. He's now engaged and i am right there supporting him, listening and im there when he needs me. The thing is he jokes all the time about how we could have been together, and that we would have been perfect, also he asked me to be in the wedding. Ive met the bride to be and she is real nice, its just i don't think they are meant to be?? I can't go a day with out talking to him, and im afraid of what he might say if i tell him. Im kinda shy, when it comes to that, but i don't want to reuion a friendship or a engagement. I just need some good advice.
