The air condition system consists of "many" components! The most common parts to fail/change are the following; compressor, expansion valve,reciever/dryer,pressure switches, refrigerant hoses, and sometimes the evaparator core inside the dash.Other parts of the system are control swiches,relays,sensors,amplifier,fuses,etc... I recommend a reputable mercedes-exp.technician help in determing your vehicles need. The cost and reliability is the reason for this recommendation.Good luck!

condenser, compressor, dryer, evaporator core(you really don't want to have to change this, the whole dash has to be taken off!) If you haven't converted the system to 134-a yet, you'll want to do that also. There are also A/C lines (hoses) pressure switches. To save yourself some money, take it to a shop and have them run a diagnosis test. I charge no more then $70. Then you won't change something that does not need to be replaced!
