This guy and i have been friends for over 3 years. He liked me, but i was still stuck on an ex. We then became best friends and well from there we have grew a friendship like nothing other. He's now engaged and i am right there supporting him, listening and im there when he needs me. The thing is he jokes all the time about how we could have been together, and that we would have been perfect, also he asked me to be in the wedding. Ive met the bride to be and she is real nice, its just i don't think they are meant to be?? I can't go a day with out talking to him, and im afraid of what he might say if i tell him. Im kinda shy, when it comes to that, but i don't want to reuion a friendship or a engagement. I just need some good advice.

If you care that much about him, you owe it to both of you to let him know. If you don't you will always wonder what could have been. If you are such good friends though you need to be ready to respect his answer either way. My husband and I were best friends and I used to give him advice about his current girlfriend. Then we decided to go for it and never looked back . We were married 2 yrs. later and have now been married for 10.

Hmm, I think you should just tell him what you feel about the girl. And leave things up to him. You cannot tell him what to do nor make decisions for him.
I don't think you should tell him about how you feel because it seems like you're not sure if you really want something with this guy or not. Its more of a friendship than those love feelings. So don't say anything unless you mean it.
I can understand how you feel about your best friend getting married. But you must understand, this is life, things will change, but happy with all the good memories and love and care you have for each other...

Lol.. But The Catch Is That It Might Ruin your friendship if You Gyes Do End up Together Then Apart, or If he doesn't Feel the same way and then feels uncomfortable around you.

I wouldn't tell him how you feel. It's his decision, if he wanted to stick around for you, he would have.

You could try talking to him about it, but if he's engaged, he obviously cares alot about the other girl.
