I have to loose weight. I can't exercise until I loose some of what I need to loose. I just don't see myself doing low meat, low protein.

yes it can work..i have a friend that lost 60 lbs on it and a friend that lost 70 lbs on it...BUT they reported feeling quite fatigued all the time and, to tell you the truth, they became a little grouchy to be around! they kept the weight off for a year, but once they went off the diet and back to normal eating (with, gasp, carbs! no more fake expensive flour and fruit deprivation!) the weight started to come back so one switched to Body for Life, and the other Nutrisystem....the low carb lifestyle was hard to maintain unless you can constantly be at home near your fridge, if we went out they would order things like 'a double burger hold the bun wrapped in lettuce'...it CAN work, but focusing on more veggies and fruits, a healthy calorie level with some special treats every now and then would, to me, seem to yield more lasting results.. consult a physician for healthy steps to take...can you try walking while you are improving your eating habits to help? good luck and take it easy~ :)

Any diet works with some excersise, you may want to start out by doing 30min cardio (walking/running/swimming etc.) 2 to 3 times a week , and then change it to 30min everyday when you are more comfortable with excersising.
anywho yes low carb diets work, however, you should still consume a good amount of carbs, if you do the atkens high protein/low carb type of diet it can do damage to your kidneys and other organs, what i honestly would recommend is just lower your calorie intake and start with a small amount of excersise to a moderate amount.

yes they work with most people..the only problem is that your body NEEDS carbs..they are the building blocks for all the energy your body needs to function...and when you stop the diet and start eating carbs again, the weight will come back on..sorry but there are no easy ways to do this..its calories in, calories out....you say you cant exercise the weight off...sure you can..its just a matter of how badly you want it...

It works for me, but it's high protein, low carbs. You eat a lot of salads, and eat meat that is low in fat, like chicken or fish. Make sure that you are eating healthy and you will lose weight.

Low carb works by satisfying hunger better, plus you avoid high caloric foods full of corn syrup.
It doesn't mean you will lose weight, because some folks go overboard with the steak & fried eggs and end up consuming so many calories it doesn't work.
