Sure it's a possibility. How can anyone push away someone who pays attention to them by caring for them, defending them against those who insult them, complementing them, etc. If you do someday succeed in winning the love of your life, in other words once she is yours if it happens that way, don't stop being caring, loving, etc. okay. And I hope she will be caring and loving, etc. towards you too, because it should be both ways.
