I've had my 99 Pontiac Montana diagnosed to have a leaking intake manifold gasket. Cost to replace is about $700. Does this seem right? Can I let it go? Or get 'stop leak'?

I've heard that glasses only act as band-aids and don't actually help to better your eyesight.

i'm 17 weeks and 6 days

every snice i've been pregnant, when i lay down i see my belly moving up and down pretty fast.. this has never happened before when i was not pregnant.. or maybe i didn't notice it but is it my baby or me thats causing my belly to make these movements do any of you ladies have the same thing or know what it could be?? _________________

i've seen some girls on tv have blush on their WHOLE cheeks... and i've seen obviously the ones that are to define the cheekbones. what is the trick, is it only for full faces that it looks good to put blush on the Whole cheek? for example, sometimes kristen kreuk from smallville has her blush in a large circle from her cheekbones practically down to her lips. would that look good on anyone, or just on people who don't have defined cheekbones?

I have a personal injury lawsuit going on in regards to a vehicle accident. The company that hit into my vehicle is paying for all of the vehicle repairs and the rental car. Within a few conversations, the company's claims adjuster told me he was sick and tired of dealing with me, that my claim was the most asinine case he had ever dealt with and also that it was nothing but a pain in his *** and he couldn't wait for it to be all over with. Not to mention how rude and ignorant he was to me during this enitre time...

Would this be considered defamation of character? I have a call into my attorney but am eagerly awaiting an answer.

I am looking to do something more exciting at the gym. I am getting tired of using the same equipment day after day. My gym offers a "Kwando" class at a time that is convenient for me. There is also "Kwando Flex" offered once a week. Does anyone know about this?

I have this black box that keeps popping up on my screen that says volume. It goes away on it's own after a couple seconds. It usually says Volume 100, but the last time it popped up I watched it go from 100 all the way down to 0. I didn't touch anything, but it was like someone was turning it down. It's really odd, and I've never seen it before today. What is it, and how do I get rid of it?

I divorced my ex almost 5 years because of his physical, emotional and verbal abuse. I am now in a happy and healthy relationship of over a year. We are now starting to talk about marriage. I have had my Dell pc for 2-3 years and have Windows XP installed, but Word and Excel are no longer available as options for opening a document.

I have tried re-installing the disks that came with the pc, but they say that because the current system is better than that on the disk, they cannot upload. Presumably this is due to the upgrades that occur automatically over the years.

What can I do?

I'm writing a screenplay for my thesis, and one of my characters is hiding the fact that her 7-year-old daughter was taken away by social services. Originally, I was saying it was because the mother took sleeping pills, trying to commit suicide, and the girl called 911 and Social Services found out. I was reading through the State of Virginia's policies with Child Protective Services (that's where the screenplay takes place), and but I don't think my reasoning would get a kid taken away.

So I'm thinking of maybe, while this mother is distraught over her situation, hits the kid, then takes the pills after regretting it? Would that work, do you think? I don't want to make the mother a drug user, that seems to be overdone in movies and things, and I don't want her to be a terrible mom that abuses her child or anything like that either. Like, this was a one-time thing, she makes a mistake, and it costs her by having her kid taken away. Do you think that's plausible?
