I believe this question can not be honestly answered until the 7th and final book has come out. Then an opinion taking all 7 Harry Potter books in to account can then be given. Until then, I believe any answer given is only a tentative answer until the 7th book is read because you never know, the 7th may end up being the best since it's the last and will have the most information.

The Order of the Phoenix, because so many interesting plot developments take place. My favorite used to be Book 4 but after reading them all through for the second time I have to say that 5 was the best. I can't wait until July when the movie will come out!

The 6th one probably, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I finished it in less than 24 hours- I couldnt put it down. Probably because as each book comes out u find out more and more stuff and the 6th was exciting but i don't want to say anything for those who haven't read it, and spoil it. but if u've read it, u prolly know why =)

I like Goblet of Fire....there are so many different parts to the book and it's so different than the previous ones. Looking forward to Deathly Hallows though!
