We have all lived before and took Life! And we have to
experience what it's like to get our life snubbed out early.
And to know what it's like for a parent to lose a child.
We are here to overcome self-righteousness and
hypocrisy.
I wish you Luck!

but why is there only an outcry of condemnation in American society against religious entertainment that contains violence while secular violence is glorified and approved of in every kind of entertainment?

This question occurred to me when reading the Yahoo news article about how people want to ban the video game called Left Behind because it supposedly promotes religious violence.

Another example was how people complained that "The Passion of the Christ" was "too violent". But no one said that "American Psycho" was too violent. "American Psycho" did not have any kind of good moral message in it. It was only about graphic mindless serial killing, but it had a PG rating. And there was never any public outcry against that movie.

How many secular video games and movies promote secular violence that we don't hear about on the news? I'm just curious as to why violence in religious movies and video games gets controversy but secular violence is no big deal to people.

Memory was something you lost with age
An application was for employment
A program was a TV show
A cursor used profanity

A keyboard was a piano
A web was a spider's home
A virus was the flu
A CD was a bank account

A hard drive was a long trip on the road
A mouse pad was where a mouse lived

And if you had a 3 inch floppy .

. . . you just hoped nobody ever found out

Sounds like I have super hero kitties but it's a real problem. I have two cats, one male and one female who are running around like little balls of static electricity. We live in Michigan where the winters get really dry. Is there anything I can put in their food or water or on them to make them a little less shocking? It is a funny situation but I'd really like to pet my cats without little pops of electricity. Any suggestions are helpful, Thanks!

My husband and i met in fith grade and were together through just about it all.We got married out of college 4 months later when i found out i was pregnant.Thats when things started to change when i was 6 months pregnant he started acting strangley and was very distant. After my daughter was born he started harassing me to go back to work but at this time i was still physically having problem getting around it had only been 4 weeks!I went back to work part time but that still did nothing to ease the problems because then i became a bad house keeper. He started to coming home on time and staying out with friend when my daughter was 1.5 he left saying "he could not take this anymore".I have had no contact with him now in what will be two years in Febuary.I have met someone else and have slowly begun seeing him casually.I believe my husbands parents said he was in New Zealand when they heard from him last.

A monochromatic light source provides 5 W of light of wavlength 4.40 x 10 ^ -7 m

This light falls on a clean potassium surface and liberates 3.2 x 10 ^ 11 photoelectrons per second.

The photoelectrons are collected by an electrode just above the metal surface and the photoelectric current measured.

Charge of Electron = 1.60 X 10 ^ -19 C

Speed of Light In Vacuum = 3.00 x 10 ^ 8 m/s

Explain whether or not photoelectorns would be emitted if a 20W source operating at a wavelength of 6.00 x 10 ^ -7m were used to be used.

The threshold frequency is 5.46 x 10 ^ 14 Hz
