I think many don't use it because they are rushing to answer the question because they want their answer at the top of the response list.
I think this same phenomenon also effects the quality of answers. People often don't think they have a lot of time to type out a lengthy response to a question because it will get buried.
I think Yahoo could eliminate all this by posting answers in the order someone began responding instead of when they hit the submit button.
In general though I think a lot of people are just lazy unfortunately.

⥠I totally agree with you! I see people putting "your" when it should be "you're" ALL THE TIME! I see people putting "are" when it should be "our". Here's the bad thing: Most of the people that do that are in their 20's or even older! â¥

i don't know why they don't but it really pisses me off. i cant stand to try and read a question that has so many misspelled words that it is nearly impossible. ignorant people.
