I know the basics.. cut down on calorie intake, exercise.. but I gained 70lbs in 2 yrs on this bad medicine! Is there anything that really worked for you?

I am 40 years old, and I still have a couple things I wore in high school, back in the 80s. They still fit, and I wear them from time to time. Funny part is, all that stuff is back in style, and people ask me where I got those cool threads.....lol

I have a bit of a long story...

Back in May 2005 I got my hair permed. It didn't look good and it was bad for my hair so I've been letting it grow out. I recently got tired of having to straighten it or go out with ugly looking curls so I cut about 6 or 7 inches off and my hair is now around my shoulders. I just got an extra inch cut off a couple of weeks ago and I've noticed that I have some split ends. I only straighten my hair once a week and usually I let it air dry. But I've also heard that you shouldn't wash it everyday. My problem is that my hair is very fine and can be oily and if I don't wash my hair everyday it looks very greasy. Does anyone have advice on how to stop my hair from looking greasy the second day, or products I could use? Thanks.

For the past couple months almost every morning at around 5 with extreme acid reflux (or something that feels like that). I have to get up and walk around for a good five minutes for it to subside, and then if im lucky i can fall back asleep sitting straight up on the couch.

Other than early in the morning i dont usually get the reflux other than maybe 3/4 times a month during the daytime. Ive tried changing my diet (cutting out on junky foods and coffee which is hell for me) and it hasnt worked (in fact its worsened).

Does this sound like traditional acid reflux, or is it something different considering it dosn't seem to be affected by my diet and it only happens in the early morning?!

How can I write better? I am beginning high school (freshman). I live in Puerto Rico, I attend a bilingual school. Since in Puerto Rico people speak much of the time in Spanish, I would like to write well like a native English language speaker. How can I? I know it's practice, practice, and practice. I'm a new mam with a 4 month old baby, so I don't get much time to myself. I'm going to a wedding in May and I would like to either or and lose my baby weight and tone up by then. I've got no confidence to go to the gym by myself. I have a few pieces of exercise equipment but no motivation. I have also recently been diagnosed with an serverly under active thyroid. I just switched yesterday from effexor to it. and although ive only taken one, ive had nausea and a slight burning pressure feeling in my stomach. im also getting a headache right between the eyes
