Let me chime in with the first legitimate answer. A solid credit repair program should be able to net you about 90 points within 90 days if you have poor credit currently.

There's no way to really tell you how to improve your credit without knowing some details about your credit history.

First if the only thing you have is a credit card on your report then you absolutely will need a few different types of loans...

Such as...

An installment payment, car loan, furniture loan...

A mortgage laon....

Store card...but don't use it much at all...high interest...but helps improve score..

One more major credit card on your report...

Make sure you have a large cushion between your balance and your credit limit....using about 20% of your available credit is ideal for score purposes.

Look at all three of your credit reports for errors...dispute anything that is not yours or reporting wrong.

Check with your parents or someone trustworthy to see if they can add you on to one of their credit cards that has a long history...length of history could greatly improve your score by a lot. When and if you do this you need to ask some serious questions...have they ever been 30 days ore more late on their payments withint the last couple of years? How much of their credit are they using against their balance...if their maxed out then you don't want to bother with it! If you ask someone this you must be responsible though...do not use their card. Let them keep the card when it comes...so you're not tempted...only use their history...not their card!

As an uthorized user you pick up their history on their account and it gets reported to the credit agencies...so this is a quick way to gain a bunch of points if their account is in good standing!

Do you have any negatives on your account that are legit??? If so...is it a collection agency??? If so this could be significantly dropping your score...

There are a few choices to fix a collection on your report...if you have one of these please post it and I can explain in detail how to handle this!
