In desperate need of help... Sims 2 for PC fans?

If anyone who can answer my question knows what I'm talking about, please leave some helpful details. On www.simpathetic.com, you can download clothes and stuff. All you need to do is copy and paste them to your Sims 2 file. When I go to play the Sims 2 though, they're not there. I really need answers, contrary to the last time I asked a question... PLEASE HELP!!!!!

well first of all i think u need a better site. or u needa make a folder in ur sims file matching the items(thats how i do it!)
EXAMPLE:for a green shirt(put in sim2) make folder called Clothes and put in!
