Just a few weeks ago my family and I had dinner and a visitor that came over drank quite alot.. he drinks at least everyday quite heavily but he would still be sober. I was just wondering what would be the difference between a heavy drinker and an alcoholic. Do heavy drinkers drink for pleasure and for alcoholics drink because they depend on it? just wondering what your thoughts are =D

hey can anyone help me...
1.i had installed Ubuntu linux on my system but the problem is that its resolution is 640 X 480 .. which sucks big time and the problem is tat it is the only available resolution in the system settings.. though in windows i m able to go upto 1280 X 1024 .. i have a samsung LCD display monitor.. can anyone tell me how to increase the resolution in ubuntu as this is the only reason due to which i do not use ubuntu linux.
2. i want to know how to format ubuntu linux from my harddrive

Every time I pet her, or touch her paws or arms, she has to constantly clean herself afterwards. Not all cats do this constant to the max like she does! What does it mean? I don't think she likes me.

to sum it up I have dated this girl for about a year and we eventually broke it off because i would get scared and push her away when she got too close (i had a problem with my last breakup with my ex-GF)

we still talk and we are really good friends

she tells me she loves me
i finally got over my relationship problem and i eventually told her i loved her

we are still good friends and we are in love with one another but she recently started to date someone else

she is afraid to be with me right now because she always invisioned me being the "one" for her and she is afraid that she will mess up before we get old haha( we are both in our early to mid 20's) but at the same time she wont leave the guy she is with because she doesnt want to hurt him either

i want to be with her now and i told her straight up
we can talk about anything but i need some ideas of wut to do

i love her with all my heart
and i know she still loves me

what should i do to get her back???
