i have a problem at my hips and i have a hectic schedule,,,where in i can get only 30mins daily so i started a crash diet as 1cup milk in the morning,2chapatis with curry for lunch,and a cup of sprouts for dinner,,can any one suggest a solution AS I HAVE NO TIME FOR GYM and i need to reduce within 30days...thank you..

Dear friend, slow down. I am not sure of your activities or work or life style which gives you only 30 mnts a day! You are only 23 and says you don't have time? If you can first start with time management.

Try to reduce your stress level first. Recent studies show that stress causes weight gain in many people. Then choose your food properly. Crash diets doesn't work and since 70s doctors are advising not to go for crash diet as your body will go into a shock and the results will be only short term and what comes next may create a long term problem for you.

You need carbos, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins and lots of nutrition every day. Start your day with good break fast. Not heavy. A bowl of oatmeal porridge made with milk and sugar will be good. Add some fresh fruit or dry fruit. Delicious! Since oatmeal digests slowly, your energy levels will be maintained. Around 10 in the morning take a fruit or buiscuit or something very light. Push your lunch to around 1.30- 2 pm. Have nice filling of rice with vegetables, and so on. If your are taking meat, reduce the quantity of rice and other stuff. What all you have to keep in mind is to stop eating when you just feel comfortable. Not stuff yourself.

Again around 4.30 have a nice cup of tea or coffee with a few cookies. Choose the ones which are not sweet. Salt or jeera cookies will be fantastic. Your dinner should and must be around 7 pm. Have chapatis or have nice 'tiffin'. India is famous for tiffins. Especially South India. Have upma, dosai, idly, chapati, phulka, dokla, samosa anything. But very light. Drink nice butter milk. Not lassi please. Night have a cup of warm milk or black chinese tea or green tea with less sugar.

Eating in moderate portions is the best. Again there are a few exercises you can do. Manage your time. You need to move your body somehow to bring it to shape. No choice unless it is heriditary.

Take care of yourself and be kind to your heart.

U r not overweight 70 for 5'5" is cudly bundle of 23F anyun will apreciate. Instead of considering wt loss consider my advise as healthy regime.
1. Start morning walk / jog/ run if u already do so ! dont jump d gun if u don't. Buy a good pair of sport shoes and winter cloths & knee caps bfor starting , take honey lemon in hot water bfor excercise dis will giv u strnght to go long.
2. Take full bkfast dont starve it should be best of ur diets. Corn flex, milk ( w/o fat or sugar) tk raisins insted of sugar. 1 fruit egg toast , sprouts etc etc,
3. Lunch with lots of chutney, greens avoid rice or maida
4. Very lil dinner preferably boiled bfore 2000 hrs.
5. Dont sleep more than 6 hrs.
6. Join a health club for sauna and steam . ( If u swim join a pool)
7. Take lots of fluid ( I mean water ar unsugared fruit ) in between meals.
8. Serve only small portions, chew long, leave the dining plate at d first feel of getting enuf dont finish it up.
Enjoy ur self b happy dont hurry up dont loose much wt just shape up even if u dont loose u will get compact with sharp features and glow .

well there are no shortcuts but i guess u can try this...morning have dal ka paani...in those 30 min try and do cardio i.e, go for run/jog. and do crunches...if u feel too lazy about running then dance for 30 min on fast music. lunch continue the same and dinner add salad to your diet as fibres are necessary for body. i'll suggest instead of taking hard meal just take munches in between that too juices and salad but continue with your previous programme. but before that take suggestion from any dietician.

hey common...yours is not that great weight..ok here..
don't restrict your diet..might be you think eating less food would reduce the weight..its a myth.moreover your body was been habituated to a good food.therefore don't restrict the food.
ya instead you can change the food menu,to a low calories food,no junk foods(burgers\pizzas),as they are rich in carbohydrates,instead you can go with salads(vegetables)as they equally good for health,burn calories,either going for a morning walk,etc..dont let them burn immediately by doing stress full exercise,walk,walk a long distance..very very all the best.
if you are a music lover.then great..play Ur favourite number and dance..it will also burn more calories without knowing you...if it not then,go with normal skipping ropes....very all the best..& stop worring about the weight..not let ur mind think more about it..

Well, stop ur crash diet. U can start YOGA lessons & U SHOULD meditate 2 times a day for 15 mits everyday

Drink a glass hot water,with one spoon honey and one lemon juice in the morning. Preferably in empty stomach. (atleast one hour before breakfast). Taking after breakfast will slightly slowdown the resust.
Stop choklate or pizza items( any kind of American introduce items)
Limit your cofee/tea ( 2 cups a day ok)
Sure there will be difference.

The thing I would recommend you to eat (though I'm not a doctor) is food with less oil, sugar and spices, lots of fruits and sprouts. And see if you can find some healthy dishes. And do eat your green veggies.

i suggest you to have a great breakfast and for eat only one chapathi for dinner drink a glass of milk and as you have an hectic schedule try to excerise in the morning for about half an hour and thats it .you have reduced your weight.

i'll not tell u to join gym but have a proper diet and walk as much as u can it is a slow process but it works out well
