About 5 days ago a gland under my neck swelled up a lot and it was quite painful. I also got what I thought were a couple of ordinary zits on my chin. Now the gland has returned to normal but those little zits have turned into scabs that are about quadruple the size of what the zits were. Something similar like this, with the gland swelling and all happened in the same area on my chin. It became this huge nasty oozing scab that took about three and a half weeks to heal. I have a scar from it. Any ideas on what this is and why? Thanks.

My boyfriend has a Min-Pin who is in most respects a sweet dog, but she really interferes with our sex life. If we close the door, she constantly barks and whines. And if we leave the door open, she jumps up on the bed. YUCK!!!

Also, he has always allowed her to sleep on the bed, but I don't like this. The thing is, he's had the dog for 3 years and I don't know if it's too late to ask her to sleep on the floor.

Does anyone else have a problem like this? What do you recommend we do?

Also, I just don't like the way my boyfriend interacts with his dog. He calls her his "daughter."

And when I first brought my cat to his home, he encouraged her to "get the kitty" - basically chase after the cat and intimidate her.

Do I have a right to ask him to find a new home for the dog? The thought of a house with no pets makes me sad but the way my boyfriend interacts with his dog really disturbs me.

with a cute guy, who obviously has a crush on you, and you have somewhat of an interest in him. He's shy, but he's very obvious in the fact he's crushing on you. But hey, he's shy, so he doesn't make a move, ever. His friends think he's an idiot because he's not a bad looking guy and yet he never advances on great girls who could have the potential of being decent longstanding relationships.

How long does it take a girl to finally give up, and lose interest. If you ever do, keep in mind you see this guy around, at work, school wherever.

Do nice guys really finish last? and is it their own fault?

I just read a question [I also watched a documentary onCreationism today], and I have a large nit pick.

Why do Fundamentalists get the idea wrong? Why in their minds does evolution deal with things that are not species, such as stars, the universe, and life [As in origin of it]? Is there a specific reason beyond "Stupid?"

Also, please note, I am a pagan-type, but I do accept the theory of evolution as scientifically sound, as well as physically true [I cannot see the unformed existence as caring about existence], so please do not say it's religion in and of it's self. Many religions co-exist with it.

what can i do? she's always got her dog on her lap and even lets it sleep with us. and even when we try to kiss it gets in between us and ruins that. and even if we're cuddling she'll say wait and goes and gets the dog. she even takes it with us on car rides and makes me watch it while she goes shopping.
