That's a 7 minute mile.

Miles/hour = (60 min/hr)/(7 min/mile) = (60/7) miles/hour
= 8.571428 miles/hour

Nutrition is far more important for weight loss than exercise - believe it or not. You think you eat healthily but you don't. Read The Paleo Diet by Loren Cordain - it will really open your eyes. If you don't want to buy anything this minute then you can read the CrossFit message board (nutrition section). Use the search function. The short version is this: The key is to eat natural food (in other words, food that humans were designed to eat). Your diet should be based on lean meat and vegetables. Some fruit, nuts and eggs are good too. You don't have to worry too much about amounts because you can't gorge on these foods. Avoid grains, starches and sugars (yes that means bread, pasta, cereal, rice). These foods make us store bodyfat. If you want to do some exercise do high intensity interval training. The good news is you only have to do it twice or three times a week for twenty minutes each. The bad news is you get really really knackered at the end (which is good but at the time you feel like dying). I bet you $10,000,000 that if you do what I've told you, you will lose weight at a consistent rate. Cordain believes that 75lbs in 6 months is realistic. Obviously you don't want to lose that much, but I'm just saying there is still time. But you have to make it happen now. If you want more help e-mail me. Edit: I'm beginning to lose patience with this. I give people the right information all time and it's like talking to a brick wall. Fine, but don't ask if you don't want to hear the truth.
