It goes into your 2007 taxes.
It goes by when your pay date is, not the days of work those earnings were performed in. So if your pay period was December 15 thru 28, 2006 and your pay date is January 5, 2007 - those earnings are counted for the 2007 tax year.

Any money you received for work in 2006 is taxed in 2006, regardless of the year the work was performed.

For personal income taxes, it would be counted as 2007 income. It could be different if you were a business using an accrual system.
