How long does it take a girl to lose interest?

etc etc

with a cute guy, who obviously has a crush on you, and you have somewhat of an interest in him. He's shy, but he's very obvious in the fact he's crushing on you. But hey, he's shy, so he doesn't make a move, ever. His friends think he's an idiot because he's not a bad looking guy and yet he never advances on great girls who could have the potential of being decent longstanding relationships.

How long does it take a girl to finally give up, and lose interest. If you ever do, keep in mind you see this guy around, at work, school wherever.

Do nice guys really finish last? and is it their own fault?

There is a big difference betweeen being a nice guy and being an idiot ! I understand that u are shy, but if u don't do something about it soon u are going to end up old and alone and have ur heart crushed many times. Always remember that the worst that can happen when u ask a girl out is she can say no ! Then u know that u need to move on to the next one. Being turned down - or said no to - is not life threatening ! Try it.

You can lose interest in a second, and it doesn't matter if the person hangs around all the time, or not. If you're shy, there are ways to get over your shyness. If you have a crush on a girl, just start talking normally about something you're interested in. Maybe she's interested in the same thing. Discuss a book you just read, and tell her about it. It's a great way to get the ball rolling. Then, just let nature take it's course, or ask if she would like to go to the library with you, or something like that. If she's interested, she'll follow in tow. If not, you can suggest something else, like maybe going to the park together, or bowling...just something fun for both of you. It doesn't have to be a date. Don't worry about rejection. If she's not interested, you'll know quickly, and if she's not, better you find out sooner, than later. Right?

It depends on the girl. I never lost interest because of time. ;)

I think the guy should work up the courage to ask her out. The worst thing she'll say is no, or the relationship won't work out. I'm sure you can imagine what the best thing would be. :)

If it is meant to be, the girl will never lose interest. If he is shy, you ask him out. Shy guys usually make great friends and lovers. You should ask him out. Good luck!

I probably would eventually work up nerve to get things started, though maybe give a wide opening, or nudge him or something. I'd hold out a long time...shy guys can be cute and fun...

if u r really interested with this guy,u should have the patience to wait 4 him giving u the signal.try to approach him n talk with him to shy away his weakness.at times u can invite him 4 a drink in a cafe,lunch with him in a restaurant,play games n swimming together,etc.all these takes time n from here u 2 can develop good relationships.if he is passive then u should be motive,otherwise it's fruitless to say here anymore.

Just go for it, take a risk. If I liked someone and he was not showing interest back I would move on quickly.. why waste time? If I truely loved him, I would wait for him.. but love is an exception. Just go for it.

if no one ever makes an move me personally would start to dislike you far as being above friends but if im desprate and really need and want this guy i may get the guts and ask him myself

some girls might lose interest and some dont. if you want to keep this girl you have to make a move
