Indian people very well recognise that not only Kashmir is an integral part of India, even Pakistan was part of India till 14th Aug 1947. It is the Muslim League and its followers said that they can not live with the Hindus and they wanted separation. Fair enough, separation was effected by Nehru, Jinnah and the British, but majority of muslims did not leave India and did not migrate to their 'jannat' that is Pakistan. So much so for their honesty (eemaan). It is a historical fact that Pakistani army invaded Kashmir and the then Ruler of Kashmir declared accession to India, as per the charter given by the british. We are all paying for the blunder committed by Nehru who stopped the advancing Indian army and took the matter to the UN, which every child knows can not do any thing in such matters as it did in Iraq. Even Mr. Musharraf has agreed that Kashmir is not a part of Pakistan. So, who should realise and what should be realised. As long as the foolish Indian rulers will keep providing infinite subsidy to Kashmiri muslims, they will keep demanding separation, because that is their nature and they benefit by this situation after having driven away the Hindu pundits from Kashmir. I may sound like a fanatic, but fact is fact, which every one should know.

The one who asked this question must know the features of a nation. India as a nation, hold Kashmir as an integral part of it.
The one who asked this question, better ask the US what is their business in Iraq. You cannot do that; because the US is a different ball game. The Muslims have no unity. You could not stop the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. You could not stop the hanging of Saddam. And you cannot stop the disintegration of Iraq in the coming years.
Kashmir is very much a part of India as Bihar or Kerala. Kashmir can come to peace. Ask your brothers in Pakistan to leave the Kashmiris alone. Indians are not an invading tribe. It is a democratic country. Kashmir will become the paradise on earth, if you forget the agenda of Islamisation of Kashmir.
Let us strive for peace and prosperity. It is the age of globalisation. The world has become a village. Borders and boundaries have no much relevance today.
Wake up man and grow up.

According to the agreement India just controls the J and K. But its not so easy to say it as a part of India. The reason is so that India Laws do not apply to the J&K State. Its the fact. The Indian Penal Code also does not apply to that State. There is a separate Code its Ranbir Code. In every law passed by Parliament of India, there is a clause "the whole Act applies to India but except Jammu and Kashmir". With this how can we expect that State to be part of India. But this does not mean Pakistan Owes Jammu and Kashmir. Its in Dreams for them. We INdian are holding the State and Will Protect it from Millitants and bloody activities of Pakistan, Mind It,

We realise Kashmir as a Part of India. I repeat as a part of India because the accession with the Raja was made with Republic of India and not with Pakistan. Yes, there were some exemption given in applying someof the rules that is applicable to the rest of the India vide article 370.

The successive governments rather rulers/dictators of Pakistan have inculcated anti sentiments amongst the citizens of Pakistan only to make their belly full. The day Pakistanies realise there are many issues that concerns pakistan than Kashmir, these belly growers are in trouble. Till then Pakistanies are unlikely to get into the growth path.

In India also there are some political parties which try to inculcate enemity amongst the Indians using Kashmir issue as base to disturb the Hindu Muslim unity, but India is a vast country with diversified culture. Hence, people have many other issues than Kashmir issue, because of which these forces are unable to succeed int he longe run.

Though the name Pakistan is an acronym that contains the word Kashmir, the country of Kashmir is no more Pakistani than it is Indian. The short answer is that both India and Pakistan lay claim to the area because of water rights.

Because most of the native Kashmiris are Hindu pandits. Because the entire region of Kashmir was Hindu-dominated for millenia. The ruthless Pakistani Muslims became terrorists in Kashmir and made the Pandits flee leaving everything behind. Consequently, now Kashmir is pro-Pakistani Muslim dominated. Is this the reason you are saying Kashmir is not a part of India ?
