I've been with my bf for almost 2 years now. We knew each other since the 4th grade (and now we're into our college yrs). I've cheated on him once, but he still didn't give up on me. I get irritated when he calls me and on most days I don't even miss him. How can I break up with him and reassure that we'd still be friends?

the most gentle way of getting off ones life is by not interfering with each others business's as much as possible..let him be on his own and be on your own. He can find alternatives if you are not around and you can do it as well..you can still be friends by saying hi and hello once in a while but that should also gradually decrease in frequency and if he asks why you don't do it as frequent as you used to.. then you can again find good excuses say you were busy with things that did not need his involvement nor his knowing what it was.. a simple *i mind my business..go ahead with yours..

The staying friends part might be a problem, because he might always see you as his "possession". Let him (set it up) catch you naked in bed with another man (or woman). That will throw him for a loop and show him that your not his anymore and don't want to be his "girlfriend" anymore. Drastic way of doing it I know but it is guaranteed to work. Good Luck.

One, just do it quick. Don't waste too much time thinking how, that hurts him because he is just waiting to see what the problem is (we do notice). Just do it in a public place and just give it to him straight (nothing insulting though). That should do it. If he cares that much for you then he'll stick around as a loyal friend.

Who the hell would want to be friends with a cheating tramp who acts like their boyfriend doesn't even exist?! Do the guy a favor, dump him and don't pretend to be friends with him --- unless your plan is to make him feel so horrible that he blows his brains out on your doorstep with a big *** gun.

Jeez, you are one self-centered twit.

tell him that your relationship isn't ideal at this point in your life, and you dont have the energy that goes into a relationship and you want more time to find out who you are. make up something like that, tell him hes a great person and if you're meant to be together it will happen again.
