I had a pretty decent & quiet New Year. I wasn't mad, I did something positive, I also prayed, I went to see a good movie later that day, I'm doing fine .... but I'm depressed. Could it be because I recently broke up with my boyfriend? Or could it be the thoughts I have of the things I've been thru that were painful & where I'm at with my life at this point (2007) & wish I was doing more things with myself? I'm making progress in my life but I do wish I was doing more things even though I'm working towards them. Is it normal to feel this way on New Year's or during the holidays in general?

I have been divorced for 10 years , I was a good wife and mother , I have raised our three kids by my self , there father was there when he wanted to be . But now he is married and treats his new wife the way I should have been treated and it hurts to see that. He took her to Mexico and married her he new I would have loved that . He took her daughter and not his own children , that hurt them , and I hurt for them . When it came to child support , I let him get away without paying the right amount . Now I have just one child left at home ,and he called me about 7 months ago and ask if he could pay a lower amount because his new wife has cancer and there bills were high , I sent her get we'll cards and prayed for her , now she is better , should I ask him to pay the right amount or leave it along . For 10 years he has been paying a lower amount , I have never asked him to help out with DR. bills are meds ,I never ask him for help,should I ask him for the child supporp?

Please dont just answer "its a lefty conspiracy" I understand that some people feel that way.
I want to know what specific gain political or otherwise that someone would get by promoting Global warming if it was a hoax.

Im pretty sure Al Gore is not running for the White house so I cant see it availing him any thing
Any soloution for global warming would be alternate energy sources, and its not like the oil companies are helping us any, and it would actually be harmful to the oil terrorist nations.

I am looking for an actual motive for why someone would use this as a tool for some kind of gain.

The problem is that i have an arranged mariage to a person from this country and i don't really want to move with her because i cant stand her son he is a user and very lazy . I have three kids not with her and one born 3mths ago to another woman i used protection but it failled she only wants money all the time and is very rude to me. i have paid for baby items which i enjoyed doing and given her money . My wife has the money to start the ball rolling i dont have enough money to start up. I have my own home but dont want to sell if it all goes wrong ill need to come back or if i rent it and remortage the rent will not be leave me with much cash after making the repayments. what can i do this problem is distroying me as i dont want to leave my kids but i can always come back or pay for them to visit me.. i need to do this as i want to live in peace.

Ok, I live in Texas, and my boyfriend of 7 years is leaving me and our 1 year old son. We have lived together for seven years and share the same bank account. Three years ago he bought a car for me in his name, I am not a co-signer. The payments have come from our joint bank account where both my and his paycheck is deposited. Now, whenever he wants to be evil, he takes the car away from me...won't let me use it to get to work, nothing. He says I have no rights to the car, that it is only his. I completely depend on this car for my and my son's wellbeing. Do I really not have any sort of rights to this vehicle????

For instance- At the beginning of the week, I already have information in row 1, columns A - Z. On the 2nd workday, I would like my total to be the sum of A1. On the 3rd workday, I would like my total to be the sum of A1 + A2. On the 4th workday, I would like my total to be the sum of A1 + A2 + A3. Is this possible? I have been working for my company for nearly a year and a half now. When hired I was hired with the understanding that I was off on Sundays for church and church volunteering. Recently in the past several months my company backed out on that deal and is practically telling me if I wanna keep my job I will work the Sundays they schedule me. Even with this weeks upcoming schedule I said I had to be off for church and I was told that I couldn't have it off because my manager and another employee (his friend) were taking off for a birthday party. I'm known at my corporate human resources as 'church boy'. I feel my religious views are being brushed aside and not taken in to consideration. I don't know what to do. Any help would be amazing. I have a friend to whom I have grown close. We have been friends for years, but she started touching me a lot and talking to me all the time. I asked her if she liked me, and she said no.
