I am trying to find a job or a degree that will get me a good job. I would like to find a job that gives you a company car, normal working hours, good salary and a flexable scheldule. Any ideas? I live in Indiana...........

An associates degree is barely better than a high school diploma.

Look in your local newspapers and on monster and see which jobs look for little experience and an associates degree.

Good luck

First of all....Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! A 2 year degree is better than no degree at all. Most job applications ask if you possess any degrees and if you are submitting resumes you will be able to put your 2 year degree on your resume. I hope you continue on to your 4 year and possibly further. As far as the company car I doubt that will be an incentive as it seems the business world unless it is a sales position or an executive level position have stopped offering cars. Even at executive levels now most companies do not offer a company car. If you lack a car I think it is in your best interest to have some kind of transportation, even if it isn't pretty. I think you can find the 'normal' working hours if you mean an 8 to 5 kind of schedule. A good salary will depend on where you live. Where I live security guards with little experience make 19 dollars an hour but receive no health benefits. In other places the same guards would make 10 or 11 dollars an hour. A business degree is not as strong as a nursing degree (2 year) etc as it is all supply and demand. Some companies offer flex time but I am not sure how flexible of a schedule you think you will find. Good luck with your job search!

Would you like a pony too? Take a reality pill and then start looking for a four year school to finish what you started. Young people think it's just that easy to get ahead. It's good that you got some education. But the world is a competitive place and you'll need more than an associates and the desire to get ahead to get anywhere. Have more realistic expectations. Do you know anyone who got all of that right out of school? Much less with just an associates. Probably not because just about no one does unless their father owns the company. You have a much better chance in life if you look at things realistically.
