I would check the gums too - if they are pale it could indicate anemia. If that is so a vet must examine the cat and determine the status of its health.

I think it has to do with circulation. What happens is, when a cat (and us for that matter) sleep our body temperature lowers a little bit, gut and kidney functions slow down, and so does the heart. When the heart slows down circulation to extremities like fingers, toes, paws, noses, gets colder and less blood then the core of our bodies. I'm assuming your cat wakes up in the morning with you, and that's when you see her light nose. Later on, after she's woken up and her body temperature has risen and her functions return to normal her nose gets darker.

However if the pale nose is accompanied by other systems (pale gums, lethargy (more then normal for a cat), sneezing discharge, fainting, etc., then of course see a vet. I hope this helps you.

One of my cats' nose does the same thing. When he's really excited and hyper it's super bubblegum pink, and when he's sleeping it's more whitish pink. I always figured it was kind of like peoples cheeks, how they get flushed and blush, etc.

truthfully, i did no longer see something incorrect with your nostril, it fits your face only nice. only understand that nostril jobs can exchange a persons' face dramatically each and every so often. And if something, the only clarification why you should think of you have a larger nostril than commonly used is by technique of the fact it in basic terms looks that way with the aid of fact your chin is somewhat small. yet do no longer upload that as yet another issue.

doesn't sound good... can it be anemia? or is your cat hving the "runs" too? (diarhea). If color does not return by tomorrow, call the vet.
