Had a family christmas with the in-laws this year, and like many families we played a game. The game in question being trivial pursuit. Unfortunately I had to go for one those brown art and culture triangles. The question was "What book in the bible tells the story of Moses" and I didn't know the answer - and since then my mother in-law has been less than friendly, and I am quite confused by it.

I do every time I walk into a store they think im going to steal something because im black. they constantly follow me everywhere I go and never leave me alone. personaly when i was young i watched the sting and thought it would be so cool to be a con artist but found it sooo hard I decided it was faster to just earn money. It pissed me off untill a year ago because I have a friend who loves to steal from stores because he finds it so easy and fun. and no one even looks at him because he is white. so sometimes he will steal us a whole bunch of stuff while I just walk around being "the scary black youth",while the "inocent white boy" steals 100s worth of cds dvds games daily! example he stole every south park and jackass season along with some rap cds. in one day and all he did was put it in the huge bookbag he walked in with. but did the look at him nooooooo. hahahahhaha

What are some things that have changed in the way you think from when you were younger, since you now have kids, a house, a career or are just older.
I for one changed in the way I think about soooo many things. For example, when I was younger I used to see a small child misbehaving and would judge the parent, thinking oh she doesn't know how to raise her child, but now after having kids I realize that that is not necessarily true.
I used to also think that being rich would make me happy but I see many rich people (not all) and the husband is never home because of work and because of that the wife is depressed and the kids don't really know their father.
I also have learned to be grateful for the things I have, even if it's just to be healthy and alive.
I used to also think, Oh yea women should have the right to choose, but after I had children I couldn't murder a baby, no way.

Heres what happened. I called her -left a message to call me back. She called me back -left a message I can call her.
Now I just called her & left amessage to call me or I'll call her-
If I do not hear from her b/c I said I might try to call her- should I call her in a few days? And should I say this time -for her to call me
on my cell phone- so that would avoid the phone tag ?
any other suggestions?
I know she is itnerested , otherwise she would not have called back the first time.
Since I called friday, and she did not call back- is it ok
for me to call back today (saturday) or should I wait
until after the new years holiday?

I need to get "Letters of support" of my wife. They are sent to an immigration officer. The purpose of the letters is to get a bond set for my wife. She has committed no crime and is accused of no crime. However she is being held without bond in jail by INS. She has an American child and her husband (me) is American as well.
