Eat only until you feel satisfied.
Begin meals with clear soups, broth or something light.
Eat vegetables, grain foods or other starchy foods and protein foods at each meal.
Eat slowly so your body has time to know when it's full.
Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Exercise.
Stock your desk or home cupboards with low-fat snacks.
Don't keep high-fat foods in the house.
Avoid alcohol.
Let yourself indulge now and then. This helps you not feel deprived, which may
cause you to eat too much later.

The best way to be fit as a horse is to run....run....run. More than any other exercises you will see the result as soon as you start running/jogging daily. But you should be genuine urself and do it on a regular basis. Start with running atleast 5 Km and extend it slowly up to 10 kms. Beleive me that 10 Km can be covered by a normal person provided that he has the will and i do it daily. Instead of doing rounds/laps go for cross country as you won't be bored that way. Going to a gym at a separate time will keep u strong and running will give you all the stamina that you need.
Keep in mind that cutting down food is never good to health. Eat well..It's the shape not the weight that matters..So try to be in better shape by combining these
1.Running
2.Gym workouts
3. Eating well

depends on how you lost the weight

if you went on a quick weight loss or fad diet then you need a
weight maintainence plan like the one here:
http://www.nowloss.com/Step_by_Step_lose_weight.htm

there's a calculator at middle of the page (in a blue box) that tells you how much you need to eat to maintain your current weight

I would read the article real quick to understand what's going on

Abinidi - it is pure logic - if you eat more than your body needs you will put on weight. Eat healthily and you hold your new weight - congratulations...............
