I have visited her this Xmas and I would like to bring her to the UK for her to be able to decide if UK life suits her.The visa trail seems to take forever and there are no guarantees.

The easiest route is via a language school. They help with the visa and is usually straight forward. You will have to book a course - usually the tuition is in the morning, Monday to Friday. At the end of the course she can have a little holiday with you. Good luck.

You have to send a letter of invitation. She will then be interviewed by the British Embassy and asked why she wants to visit. The answer, "to visit my boyfriend" will result in no visa as they will not believe she will leave the UK again, and they will probably be right in 80% of cases. The best method is to sign up for a cheap package tour and the visa will be granted. When she arrives she leaves the tour and stays with you - down side is she has to leave when the tour returns. Once she has a record of visiting and returning, the second trip is easier.

Chris H. has the correct answer. You write a letter of invitation saying that she will be staying with you from such a date, to such a date. This will help her when she applies for her visa. The letter and visa will be needed at immigration in UK, don't just get tickets and expect her to be allowed to fly. Remember, if you want to marry her and live in UK, you will need to prove to the authorities that you REALLY love each other. There's a lot of fraud going on. It seems unfair when there are so many people sneaking in illegally, buts that what they will always be. Illegals. Your prospective wife will be a legal resident. It's worth waiting for.

Easiest way would be a direct flight, otherwise try to limit it to one stopover, hopefully without changing planes. Don't know how visas affect this.

Why do you not go over to the Ukraine and decide if Ukraine life suits you?? Other than that, just pop her on the next banana boat that comes this way, we'll open our arms to her and give her a house, money, free nhs queue jumps,etc. She'll have it made just like thousands of others have!!

We invited two russian friends over from belarus. All we had to do was send a letter of invitation to them to give to their embassy, along with a bank statement to prove we existed. This was enough to enable them to fast track a visa to visit us.

Women - dont trust them, especially poor foriegn women who want to come & live here very much.....

come as a visitor or tourist,marry her,give her a baby,then apply for a temporary residents visa.
Well a better guarantee as she,s pregnant,for her to stay here as she,s got more chance,and your a British citizen too,and also the baby too.

whatever you do, make sure her passport isnt older than 5 years otherwise the wiseasses at the airports and borders think you have a fake passport (unless it is english in which case they dont even check it.)
