My b/f and I have talked about marriage. He is currently a member of the local Elks lodge (b/c his father is) and he was married there as well the first time around. He tried, not so hard, to convince me that it’s a nice place to get married; that they have weddings and receptions there all the time. I told him I did not want to get married in the same place he married his ex wife, but that I would be ok with the reception there.

Would you want to marry your b/f or g/f in the same place they married their ex spouse?

My best friend's credit score is about 550, and she wants to lease a car and possibly buy a house in the future, with a score like that can she? I know that her credit was much worse, and she has been keeping up to date on her bills and is trying to bring it back up above 600. I recently told my boyfriend of 4 months that I was in love with him. I had been wanting to tell him for a while, and finally got up the nerve. While I dont regret my decision to tell him, he told me he could not say it back. He has never been in a real relationship before, and has never said it "I love you" to anyone. Whatever his reason though, I cant stand the thought of seeing him or talking to him now, and am considering breaking up with him. Is it normal for one person in a relationship to say this before the other? What can I do to make myself feel better about this, or is cutting of the relationship a good way to go?

I got married in July. I'm putting down married joint with 0 allowances for my 2007 w-4. The IRS advises that in our financial position we should withhold an additional amount in our paychecks. How come my birds were silent for the past 2 days since I had them.
They were doing nothing just sitting there except once yesterday.
I put on some rock music and they started flying around crazily and hopping wildly.
I thought it was loud music that upset them.
But today, someone thought it was a good idea to wrap some sandpaper around the perch instead of buying the official branches that trim their feet.
so he grabbed the perch
that the birds were sitting on!
and the cage tipped to the side from the chair it was on(we didnt buy a stand)
and the paper towel roll toy fell on one(we didnt buy much of any real toys)
and of course the birds hopped around wildly
After he replaced the branch the 2 birds started chirping wildly and screeching and flying around the used $20 cage.
yesterday the parakeets like to go on my finger
now they run away from it
And screech loudly and go crazy every now and then
Is sandpaper a good idea?
Why are they screeching so much?
What do I do?

My first reaction was "oh no this is only going to cause a bigger uproar." Then I thought it might actually help us out a great deal. I think a lot of people over there need to see for themselves that times have changed, and a public hanging is a good way to show that. Maybe with him dead, a lot of his supporters will loose the will to fight.

I have more nieces then nephews. On my side I have a 9 year old niece, 8 year old nephew, 2 year old niece and a 6 month old niece and on my husband's side I have a 6 year old niece, 2 year old niece, 10 year old niece and 7 year old nephew (the last two belong to my husband's sister's boyfriend in which the 6 and 2 year old belong to her.) ...I have replaced any and all burnt fuses under the dash (and looked under the hood as well) but it doesn't last long. Now there's discoloration on my digital clock and digital odometer and the fuse to the power mirrors has blown. Also, whenever I replace the fuse to the cigarette lighter, it burns out within minutes. Any suggestions?
