The little boy, for whom I am a nanny, emptied his piggy bank and put the money in his Christmas card to me♥

You must be a great nanny. He must love you very much. I'm sure you already got him something for Christmas, but he deserves a hug for that.

That is so sweet, maybe you could give him a little allowance once a week, when he is being good, so he has some money later to buy things for you or himself if he wants to.
I don't agree with the others about not accepting it, keep it, it is a gift to you and if you give it back, he may think that you didn't like it. Give him lots of hugs for it, he gave you all that he had, that is so awesome. Such a giving child. You must be a really fantastic nanny for someone so young to do that, and for that boy to sit and listen to you run on about your sweetheart, Marshall Matt Dillon, he must be a real treasure.

That's very sweet of him. He sounds pretty young. But, personally I think the best thing to do, is tell him thank you, but that you can't accept it and return the money to him. Or, let his parents know what he did and give the money back to them to return to him in a way that won't hurt the childs feelings.

Aww that sounds so nice. But really, you can't accept money from a little kid. It's not right and you know it. Tell him that you can't take the money. If he insists, do what someone else said and put it back in bill form when he isn't looking.

That was very sweet of him, and for only five. Be sure to get him something worth a lot more than what he gave you!

That's cool......It would be hard to take it, but then it has made him feel great in giving.....Explain how you felt getting a gift and get one for him so he can feel the same.....Savings bond would be good....inexpensive!
