I have a guy friend that i see at work. The problem is i've developed feelings for him even though he has a gf. I told him about it and suggested that it's best that we stop talking at all until i get over my feelings for him. We've stopped talking for a couple of days, but i miss him. Do you think he know i was going to end up missing him? Does he really want me to get over him?

My friend is always taking things that are said, by either friends or strangers, negatively. She is extremely defensive when ever anything is said. Our daughters play sports together, when someone ask what was wrong and mentioned that her daughter had a bad night the night before. She got extremely upset thinking that the lady was putting her daughter down, when she was only asking because she was concerned.

I'm thinking about getting color contacts, but I've never worn anything but glasses. My eyes are naturally a muddy greenish-brown color, and with dark brown hair, it looks kind of blah. Can I go to a lighter color like grey or green, or will those not show up? Also, are there any brands of color contacts that you all recommend? Thanks!

This is what I think... I dont think that when it comes to, life problems, heart ache and so on they have it easier, we will all have that. BUT when it comes to getting Jobs, Boyfriends, even friends they have it better. People are attracted to beautiful things, thats just human nature. I am not the least considered one of these "beautiful" people. But Im not going to be all mopy and abusive about it like some people. Some people hate beautiful people because they think they have NO problems in the world. NOT THAT BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE CANT GET A JOB ON THERE OWN

Are there different degrees ?

When I cooked (once) for my sister-in-law, I couldn't use milk in my mashed potatoes. But butter was ok. Good gawd !! help me understand why butter is different from milk when it comes from the animal?

Also if I make gravy or a vegetable soup using chicken or beef boullion, isn't that still considered meaty since the boullion came from some part of the animal through processing but is not actually a chunk of it?

We have had numerous vegetarian exchange students as well and they seem to eat what ever I put in front of them as long as they don't see a chunk of meat. Are they less of a vegetarian than those who don't do milk? What about eggs... it is a protein that comes from an animal... how can any vegetarians eat breads and cakes and such with eggs in them?

I am just confused with all the different ways I see vegetarians. Seems to be double standards and I want YOU to give it to me straight!!!

I haven't seen both my grandparents or my boyfreind in atleast a month. I came up state to see my grandparents on the same night my boyfriend came back home (he moved 2 hours away). I'm supposed to stay with my grandparents until the 6th or 7th (when my mom will travel 2 hours up to see her boyfriend) and my boyfriend is leaving the 3rd. He wants me to come down and on the first sowe can hang out on the 2nd and maybe when my mom goes to see her boyfriend we would come back up here and see my grandparents.
so should i stay here and be with my grandparents and miss my boyfriend for a couple more weeks or go see him?

My severely disabled son needs a customised gamepad for the wii and playstation - or preferably a universal gamepad to play any game console (if that's possible). Do I need to look for an electronics expert or computer expert? Maybe a combination of these two, or something else entirely?? I have searched the Internet for weeks but found no useful links. Any help is much appreciated as solving this problem will help his life on many levels.

Early this morning I got a call from my doctor notifying me that the results from my Pap smear test were in. She said the cells in my cervix turned out to be abnormal which eventually years from now can turn into cancer. I'm still early on (11 weeks) so the biopsy test can't be done until after I hit 12 weeks. The phone call was shocking that I was at a loss for words and I forgot to ask if this could possibly affect my baby? Or what I did to cause this? Should I be concerned yet?
