Don't try to hard...the best pics are always the ones that aren't staged. Hold your head up and turn it slightly to one side or the other. Use your natural smile. Always be natural.

I'm an old timer and have never been photogenic. I think it's because I don't like making a phony smile and holding it. When I've had a real smile, I look a lot better. Try to get someone to say something funny so you can really smile.
Also, I have blue eyes that look red in a photo. I wear glasses which almost always make a glare in the pictures. Tilt your head down a little if you have this problem.

Photogenic is in the eyes of the beholder, just like beauty. A good photographer can minimize large noses and ears through posing and lighting. Background can also detract from the subject. Again too lean is subjective. If you feel good about your physique then your pictures will appear more photogenic.

Well, you could gain some weight or get professional advice on the style of your hair. (Your avatar looks like the profile of a man, so we won't even discuss makeup options.)
However, I think the best approach is to concentrate on your personality. People don't think the camera picks up on that, but it does. If you're busy being self-conscious because you think you're not attractive, then that will come through in your photos, and whenever you get around other people.
If your mind is off yourself and onto others - if you're relaxed, smiling, laughing, focusing on making other people feel special and loved and forgetting about how you look, then the paradox is you will be ultimately attractive whether you are physically that appealing or not.
Don't believe me? Think about some folks in your school (or wherever) who are wildly popular. I don't mean the arrogant, snobbish ones. I mean the people who are well-liked because they are truly likable. Now think about how they look. Any of them over/underweight? Any of them have acne or a bad haircut or a nose too big for their features? Does that seem to matter?
Get comfortable in your own skin by getting out of your own head about your own skin for awhile. Put others first, relax, have fun, and pretty soon you'll notice that coming across in your photos. (If you bother to look at them at all.)
Good luck!

Hi . my dear friend...
some things are natural(GOD-GIVEN)
we r no one to change them... so please be satisfied with what you have...
its not important if u have a nice photogenic face or a good muscular body or a girl friend or good amount of cash in hand.... etc. but what matters is your behaviour. It is always your attitude towards your fellow beings that helps you and drives you forward in your life...
So BE GOOD AND DO GOOD.... and stop worrying about all this bodily beauty... its that spiritual beauty or our Intellectual Beauty that finally matters...

many people don't have photogenic faces.if your photos aren't coming good then try to take your snaps in a different pose each time and compare your snaps.at least one snap will come out nice.try taking your photos in that particular pose and always go to professional photographers.
