Hi had adate with aguy imet off the internet! ive never been on aproper date before so i was very nervous! got2nd date 2nite!what do i talk about? even though we talked for two hrs about things i didnt know what to say when it started going quite! i dont go out much! this guy is well travlled something ive never done but want to! hes very intelligant and charming, going to dinner tonight! as you guessed im very shy need some advice! on how to keep the conversation interesting and funny!!!

Theres a guy i work with and i have always had a crush on him but i knew he has a girlfriend so i kept clear. A few months ago we started getting along really well and sort of flirting, at the start i didnt think it was anything, but the flirting got more serious. Anyway we have spoken about the whole thing several times and i have told him it needs to stop because its not fair but, everytime we agree for it too stop it does for a little while, then it gets right back were it started. Its getting to me because i have geniune feelings for this guy, he is a good friend and i dont think he would hurt anyone intentionaly but i dont know that he has any serious feelings and it is just screwing with my head. Everytime he hugs me or trys to touch me it sends me mixed signals. I really dont want us being weird around each other, we have to work together and i dont want this to keep happening if he has a girlfriend. Also nothing more than flirting has happened but its not right. Help?

I have been seeing lately a lot of people suggesting that taking a lot of hits in esp the abdominal muscles, makes them stronger. is this true? Does it work with other muscles? If I ask a friend to punch me in my abs or other muscles, could that actually be good for them?

Ok, I've stayed out of this section for months now...figure I would just pop in to say hello to all of you.

Here is my real question: why do religious folks "down-thumb" everyone that doesn't agree with their point of view, or "belief"?

Just for fun, I clicked on a "religious" question (it was simply: are you religious?), and after I saw that somebody had down-thumbed all the non-believers, I went through and did the same with the believers.

You know what? I was expecting some sort of evil satisfaction. Well, there wasn't any satisfaction. It just wasn't enjoyable.

So if you down-thumb people that don't agree with you on a regular basis, do you feel some small sense of self-worth? Just curious. If so, I think you really need some counseling, or anger management classes!

And if you can't understand sarcasm, that whole thing on counseling was sarcasm!

Hi,
let me just put what i want to say in points.
1) i am commited to a guy who lives in another country
2)we want to get married
3) we are from the middle east originally
4) we love each other alooooooooooootttttttttttt
5) THE "PROBLEM" - when i call him and he doesnt pick up (coz he is with his friends and doesnt like to talk to me in front of them..sort of tradition thing), he MOSTLY doesnt call me back later on and it makes me sad. we always chat everyday. but i still want to hear his voice .. not only chat. of course he does call but mostly chat.
I told him how i feel about this issue and he said ok he will cal back , however he hasnt changed much.

what should i do? do u think its a real problem? sometimes i say maybe its coz of the high call rates for international calls

OK so heres my question.....got our son a fish to go w his new terririum thingy, yeah and so we put Jaws(the goldfish) in his bowl & all seems to be going just fine. Heres whats weird, so Ive never had a fish just in a bowl before , ya know no filter or anything, well Jaws seems to spend most of his time at the surface kinda like kissing it...what Im wondering is, is this normal for fish tht live in bowls??? Is he gettin enough oxygen?? Im afraid he struggling for air to breath since there is no filter n stuff.....he seems fine but Im a littel worried anyways dont want the poor little guy to die I really like him. I got the Desperate Housewives Pc game for Christmas and also a brand new sony vaio vgn-n110 G and when I went and installed the game I failed on video acceleration and it says it need accel and my computer says I have accel. I've been using proactive diligently for months with no results. I have a few bad acne cysts on my forehead that I'd like to get rid of before my school formal in 2 weeks. OTC medications are not working. I've heard something about a pill that can be prescribed for a week to clear up skin before a special event. I'd much prefer that to cortisone shots, which I've heard can be expensive and painful. Does anyone have experience with this?

One country/culture/ people taking advantage of the vulnerabilty of another...and improving their own access to profits and cheap products.

I see it as the same thing.

Do people in the USA even care that all the cheap, great stuff they can get these days are the result of people who slave away 14 hrs a day just for pennies?

What I mean is this, there are times in my life where I feel that I have had enough stress and I have so much energy built up inside of me from the frustration that I go through daily, and I do something very risky in hopes to break out of my anxiety that I feel at times in my life. It's always been positive actions, I'm consciously aware of turning the negative energy in my life and trying to make a breakthrough in my life freeing myself from the spiritual bondage that the world tries to keep me in. There have been times when I almost cried, because I knew deep down inside it was a "Make me or Break me" turning points in my life. I'm feeling this way again. I'm trying to take my lifestyle to another level. I'm running away from the minimum wage jobs in pursuit of a more financial free lifestyle. I've honestly had it up to here, and I'm willing to do anything almost to live a better life of income. What is this feeling inside me? Anyone know what I'm talking about or went through it?
