The California Nurses' Association has helped the California nurses tremendously by supporting mandatory safe nurse to patient ratios. The result has been safter patient care and less nursing staff turnover. Now the CNA has begun organizing support in Texas for similar legislation. Would you support their efforts? www.calnurses.org

It was dropped on the pavement and now it doesn't always focus. My grandsons 18th birthday pictures were mostly blurry. The whole picture is blurry so it is not focusing on something close up. It is a HP photosmart 812.

I've recently begun reading "A Good Day To Die," from the "I.K.S. Gorkon" trilogy. I've also purchased "Captain's Blood" but haven't started it yet. I'd like to know some good "Trek" books to read based on the old series and TNG. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I am looking for something of higher quality than a typical gift-type Bible. Preferably a Thompson Chain Reference...but that is not mandatory. I checked Zondervan's website and several bible bookstores, but they didn't have what I was looking for.
Are there any places where a person can have a bible specially made?

my cousin and his wife are always asking my daughter to keep her youngest girl for long weekends and never invite of ask for the oldest girl. They are 3 and 6 yrs. I am concerned over the impact this is having on the girls, and my daughter becomes defensive whenever I try to talk to her about it. I have spoken to them all about this situation and they all try to make me feel like I am wrong about how I think on it. They all say that favoritism is acceptable and everyone does it. I am very upset and annoyed about how selfish and cruel they all are and I don't know what else to say or do (if anything) I wish I could get custody of my grandgirls and put a stop to this. What impact do you think this will have on them?

My skin almost feels like it hurts for ANYTHING to touch it, like even clothing or even a light breeze blowing by. I feel like I've had this all of my life, and seems worse in the morning, especially if I don't get enough sleep. I don't know what to do as everyone, including doctors, seem to think I'm crazy, but I just want to know I'm not alone. I'm a healthy 27 year old male and have had this problem as long as I can remember. Do you have any suggestions on what this could be? Some days it takes everything I have just to get out of bed because the extreme changes in temperature, like a shower, from hot to cold, make it really bad. It actually HURTS to wear clothes and to feel something touching my skin. Am I crazy?

Im 26 he's 27. Weve been married for a year and some change. We had little squabbles here and there like normal couples, but for the past month hes been acting strange. When I try to talk to him I get dismissed or a terse response. Whenever he wants sex (a lot) I feel like I have to say yes. And sex isnt even fun anymore b/c hes so aggressive it verges on sadism. On Christmas day in a friends house I kinda embarrassed him (long story) but I made a semi public apology. When we got home he kept rehashing what happened. He pinned me against the wall and yelled at me like a child. I was so pissed, I made him sleep in the living room and gave him the silent treatment. Hes been trying to apologize but Im not having it. Anyway if things continue like this i know were headed for divorce. Ive tried talking to him but like I said he is so unresponsive. What should I do?

A guy I like takes days to respond to my online messages.

Well, first of all let me say that I emailed him first, and he did respond the very next day, but I was out of town and did not get his response until 2 weeks later. Ever since then he takes several days to reply back to me.
We are very flirty in the emails to one another.
The last message I sent him was before the holidays two weeks ago and I still have not heard from him.
Is this a sign he is not interested, or am I reading too much into it?
