Local newspaper asked some college students what they would do if drafted into the military. Almost to a person they said they would not serve. One even went so far as to say that although the United States was a great country it wasn't worth fighting for!!! Hundreds of thouands (if not millions) of men and women have given their lives in conflicts that helped make the United States the country it is today (the Bush years notwithstanding). Has it gotten to the point that the youth of this country don't realize the sacrifice that must and has been made so that they can enjoy the life they do now? So was that young person right....is the United States not worth fighting for? Or would you serve if drafted and maybe give up your life in defense of your country? (FYI...I was in the US Army...1969-1972...Viet Nam war vet)

ok ya'll me and my gf have been dateing for about a yr im a senior in high school she is a junior! im going away to BCT (Basic Combat Training) for the army July 5th of 2007 in the past i havent had much luck with long distance relationships...how ever none of them were also not as serious as this one is...what should i do about this i mean i like her a lot and she wants to stay together whent aht time comes if we are still dateing but yea and i no i have some time im jsut looking for some feed back on this so get back to me plz plz plz plz oh yea and thnx haha

I'm about 4 weeks pregnant. I moved out of my hometown for college and my parents and my boyfriend live there. I work 30 hours a week and go to school 18 hours a week. I'm afraid my lifestyle doesn't fit a child in my future. Because I believe I'm still too young to have a child and because the people closest to me live 200 miles away. I'm really lacking in childcare and support. Is an abortion right for me?

(Unfortunately I refuse to consider adoption)

She is so scared of them. I am also concerned about her health - it seems like she had vomiting and loose bowel movements since we been in the apartment. We were forced out on x-mas eve because I was fed up of the roaches getting on her. What can I do? Also, I only been in the apt. for 6 days and when I did the walk through I could not tell there was a bad problem. They are on both of us and in our food.
