she has 4 grandchildren and i want to give her something like a scrapbook kit big enough to make pages of all her granchildren. or maybe make her something. does anyone know a good place i could find a nice scrapbook especially made for grandchildren, not just one child? or i've seen those stork things that hold the names of the children......but i don't know where to find any of these things. any ideas?

My boyfriend and I were having a discussion about gift giving and he stated that he felt it was fine for a female friend (whom we both know and like - this isn't a jealousy issue!) to give him a leather jacket or bottle of expensive cologne for Christmas. I feel this is weird as these arent gifts that "friends" exchange (all the other gifts exchanged are in the $15-$20 range).
He also felt it was fine for another man to purchase items like this for me - including jewelery - as long as it wasn't a ring or necklace.
If a male friend bought me a gold bracelet I would feel weird and uncomfortable.
When would you feel a gift given to your Boyfriend/Girlfriend had crossed over from being generous to inappropriate?

My mum used to say when i was a kid "woe betide you" if you get a scratch on your new shoes or if you spill you dinner on your new dress or if your bedroom is a mess etc etc, the list goes on but it all started with "woe betide you"
Has anyone else heard of it.??

I would like to know if anybody has had surgery on their kidney for the removal of cancer? The Drs. are very up and up on my recovery, but I am wondering if it will take a lot of time to recover? I am hoping for the best, I know that I am in the best hospital in the world that treats this kind of desease, but still I am nervous. Please pray for me and my family! i had unprotected sex with my bf on the 12 and 19th day of my cycle. which was 12/2 and 12/9. my cycle is 29 days my last pd was 11/20...however that one was late it was really due 11/9....right now I'm 2 days late on my pdi feel no signs of it i normally get serve cramps for a week b4 its due. however this isn't the case. i'm mostly tired, sleepy and slightly dizzy...is it possbile i'm prego if my pds have been irregular? when should i test?

I'm 24 and my wife and I have 3 kids. a 6 year old that was hers before me and twin baby girls that are 4 months old. I was a touring musician but i now work for A Engineering firm and i am taking a masters course so i have been busy trying to give her all she needs. she said she fell out of love and she doesent know why. how do i get over her without going crazy.. I feel as if i have nothing to live for even though everything in my life is going good besides my marrage. We tried counciling but she doesent know why i get on her nerves. I was willing to look past her always yelling and screaming. Her mom has been married 6 times so i should of known that she was going to bail. she desided yesterday at counciling that she was done and i am done waiting by her side to see if she wants me. the wort part is she says im a good guy and i work hard, she thinks we dont vibe well but i do and i wanted to. I know she is not cheating. I just need some advice on how to get over her. -AMV

I had a baby with the worst greatest loser who in turn refuses to pick up his daughter on the wknds doesn't pay child support! my parents left the state I'm all alone. My bro and sis are so different than me we don't even speak anymore. my ex's family are the worlds worst people I have ever met in my life! I've been kicked out of every apt and lost so many jobs B/C I'm alone w/my daughter so times get hard for me when I can't find someone to pick up or take care of my daughter when school is out and my boss would get upset and let me go, having to start all over again some place else. And all of my friends are in relationships and getting married meanwhile I'm alone at home cause I have no one to take care of my daughter so I can have a drink and I can't I don't mind being at home with her but sometimes I need to go out and unload..meanwhile I just found out my ex is getting married the man who treats his kids like garbage and he deserves happiness how is that? unfair!! (crying)
