Santa is the victim of stalking.
Kids will call out to Santa whenever they see him.
He can't go into a supermarket to get carrots for his reindeer without heaps of kids stalking him around the store.
On the odd occasion the mother is awake when he visits a house, he can't even give her a peck on the check under the mistletoe without paparazzi telling the media in a Christmas song ("I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus, underneath the mistletoe last night.")
Stalkers are not known for the high level of cleanliness that Santa has. Keeping his beard so white while going through so many chimneys shows he has great personal hygiene.
To his credit, he still loves it when children call him and give him a hug - even the children that are over 50 years old.

Think back to when you were younger. When christmas came around, you probably got excited and couldn't sleep. I think parents make sure their children know the song to keep behaving. Knowng that santa knows if you misbehaved, scares the kids to think that if they don't behave and do what their parents tell them, they wont get anything for christmas.
Looking back at it now, it does sound like he is a stalker. But santa is for the children not the adults. WOW that makes him sound like a pedophile.
