I'm a 29 year-old woman (pregnant at the moment), married to a wonderful husband and am currently living abroad. I have a crazy mother who's here right now to help me at this time and to forget her troubles with my father (who had a one-night stand w/ a hooker 3 years ago). The problem is, she continues to talk about the problem until now, eventhough my father didn't leave us and continues to support our family and tries to change his "ways" (read: being a bit frisky). She and my dad already went to counseling and she's taking medicine for the pain and depression. Here's the trick: she sometimes refuses to take the medication because she wants to "remember" the hurt so she feels "alive". She recently got jealous of the household help, because my father was getting "touchy feely" with her, but my crazy mom refuses to fire the maid! And to top it all off, she blames us (her children) of not being able to "change our father's ways". Now, I refuse to speak to her. Is this okay?

I know for a fact that many Swiss banks will open an online account for US residents. There are in fact many companies online (just search for "swiss bank account") that will "make the introduction" (i.e. sell you the link to the bank website) for under $100. Does anyone know the web addresses of some of these banks? I feel silly paying $100 for something that is accessible for free.

I feel this will be a really silly question, but ere goes. I've just bought a pair of pebcil pleat curtains and curtain hooks (white plastic). The rail has little loops that can be moved along it, but where does this connect to the curtains, as I can connect the hook to the loop ok, but I'm lost as to how it gets attached to thick band on the curtain itself. Can anyone help or guide me towards a visual demonstration please????

I have studied Japanese for 4 years now. I've had my bad experiences with Japanese people here in usa. I don't mean i've had fights with them, but i feel this hatred and discrimination when i have tried to be friends with them. Mostly i feel what it is , it is racial discrimination cause i just see how they love it when White people approach them but when i do, they make aweful faces of disgust( slightly but you ccan see they are not happy).
Anyway, i started getting these things since i started studying... i got the feeling of being hated by a bunch of them. so now i don't meet any but i'm constantly internally reflecting on this and i feel like giving up my learning of that language cause Why do it, if you're gonna be hated by them?

But at the same time, i'm not going to waste all that i've learned. Who cares if they hate me, i'll just study on my own and for my own. Well but it's hard to think this way, cause naturally you want to speak kwith the native people.

I was watching a funny video with people tripping and falling off their scateboards...stuff like that. Then all of a sudden, there's a clip of a guy acually being hit by a car while crossing the street! He likely died from it.
