Since Intelligence can be measured and there are different levels. Doesn't that proof without a doubt that an infinite level of intelligence exists.

And since it takes a great deal of intelligence to understand the laws of the universe. Doesn't that proof that our universe was built or created by intelligence?

I'm trying to find the most comfortable/functional clothing to wear while doing pilates. The back fastener on bras hurts my spine, but sports bras aren't that comfortable either. Also, do you wear pants or shorts?

I've been with this girl for 6 weeks now, things started off great, the intimacy and chemistry was there, and I was very excited. We had one bad date after she heard some news about her sister that she won't talk about (and whom I have not met) and since then she has been very distant, disinterested, and moody. The last 3 dates the kisses have been simple pecs, the hugs have been light, and the compliments and conversation scarce. I try intiating things, but she distances herself, yet when I ask to see her she still wants to see me. I am confused. I am in the middle of my grad school finals and am unsure if she is still interested or if she is planning on breaking up with me once my exams are over. She doesn't always return my calls, in fact, I am the only one calling most of the time. Our last date she was more open intimacy wise, asked if she could give me a massage. Am I worrying over nothing? Her change in behavior since the news has made me nervous, what should I do?

Ok, so, I was talking to a friend the other day, and I caught a little sentence which made me think.

Question: why do the nice guys never have the girl?
Answer: because they're boring

I feel like a nice guy, and if boredom is death sentence, how can I work against it? Surprise my mate after we've been living together for a while? The idea would be to have her wonder all the time "what is he up to this time?".

Except I'm not very creative and have no ideas. And little money.

So, how do you keep her on her toes, surprise her, prevent her from getting bored?

I have a close friend that touches me a lot and kids about me being her boyfriend and other friends of mine being competition. A few weeks ago I made a comment about some dancing girls, and she shot back a snippy comment. Also, she asked me what I thought about relationships, and she has been asking about girls I call and old girlfriends I still talk to. She also asks about how many girls are in my life. And she makes comments all the time about how everyone deserves to get married. Why do ladies do these things?

It can't be overlooked that many people are religious because of the obvious benefits of the church itself: communities, a place for spiritual and inner growth, a day of rest, quiet contemplation.

Perhaps atheism would be more widely adopted it some kind of secular, naturalistic worldview component could fill the void?

Science and philosophy could certainly provide better, more thorough, and more progressive avenues for personal growth and fulfillment. There would be no more liberal theologians awkwardly defending the virgin birth, but and the handicap of faith wouldn't restrict the advancement of the church unit itself.

Has anyone else considered this? If atheists are serious about pulling people away from faith, shouldn't they consider how to fill the social and psychological void that a church fills?

This is a true danger, please help me!
I have a younger brother, who is now 20 but he is very depressed by everything and everyone, his soul is full of anger to the world. Every problem he encounters, makes him more and more closed into himself, he doesn't want to share with anyone, even with me. He does not want to live anymore, so does whatever could end his life faster. My mom cries almost every day because of him and we can't find solution to the problem. Please, if you know what to do in such a situation or have had a similar experience, please help me. I'm really serious.

I'm planning on backpacking my way through Central America. I want to fly into Cancun and out of Honduras. In your opinion. or knowledge, is it best to buy a one-way ticket or multi-city. I am unclear on Mexican customs....any body have any suggestions.
