Ok, so, I was talking to a friend the other day, and I caught a little sentence which made me think.
Question: why do the nice guys never have the girl?
Answer: because they're boring
I feel like a nice guy, and if boredom is death sentence, how can I work against it? Surprise my mate after we've been living together for a while? The idea would be to have her wonder all the time "what is he up to this time?".
Except I'm not very creative and have no ideas. And little money.
So, how do you keep her on her toes, surprise her, prevent her from getting bored?

Women's magazines, yeah, never thought of that either.
Everyone: so, what you say is, I don't need to be crazy, I just need to tell her that I want to spend a lot of my time for her, will go great lengths for her, I like her being around, and what else. Gotta definitely try the rose swarm thing at least once.
Sometimes, little details leave a strong print in my mind. A strong one is the look in her face when I told her "I love you". It was like, I dunno, she was very happy, released.

Aw how sweet! Women do love surprises.
I would suggest little things like..
Pick her a rose from a nearby neighbor's yard and leave it on her pillow while she's sleeping so that when she wakes up she sees it with a short but sweet note. Something like Miss you, or coudn't wake my sleeping beauty. Think valentines tarts messages.
Smile at her like the men in the movies do. Show her your awe of her and when she asks you why your looking at her like that, tell her becuase your just taking the time to notice how special she is.
Rent her favorite movie and cook her a nice dinner.
Offer to go shopping with her.
Tell her she looks wonderful in the morning when she wakes up and mean it.
Sign to her I love you, using your hands, hold up 1 finger for I, two four fingers for love, and three fingers for you when your not close enough to tell her but still want to surprise her and make her feel loved.
Take a picture of her or your favorite picture of her and frame it and put it in your office or place where she'll see it.
Tell her friends how lucky you feel to be with her and they'll tell her.
Since they know her best, ask for ideas.
Take her to karaoke and sing her a song you feel will make her feel special. It'll probably emberass her but making a fool for yourself in love is never a bad thing.
Climb in the shower with her, and use that time to just be with her. It can be very intimate.
Get her a kitten, or a puppy, or a bunny or something soft and fuzzy and live.
Make her a CD of her favorite music or a CD of music you and she like.
If you have some money, send her the biggest bouquet of roses that your florist can make. Make sure to send it to a place where all of her friends or others can see. Women love carrying flowers in front of other women. Even a single rose makes a woman feel special.

Buy a carton of her favorite Ice Cream and put it in the freezer without telling her.
Read Cosmo for more ideas. A lot of guys that get the girls read it secretly becuase of all of all the spills that men do that women talk about in the magazine.

I think it's great that you are trying to think of something special for your girl! You don't have to spend lots of money to surprise someone. Pay attention to the LITTLE things. Buy her favorite snack- like skittles or whatever. Notice what she's wearing and compliment her when appropriate. Remember it IS the Little things!!! Good Luck!

Instead of wondering how to jump through hoops for your mate, til she thinks you've lost your mind, or your up to something, consider the idiot girl that made that statement. That's not how ALL girls think. Just keep your mate smiling and happy the way YOU know how.

go all out at buy cooking dinner and make sure that you decorate the dinner table with loads of candles and roses! wear a tux (even if she is just in sweater or pjs) she will have the time of her life

I like nice guys I wish there was more of you out there! Your probley not boring.
take her to minature golf, or bowling, pool, movies!
these are all fun dates!
