Question about website photos...?

I've had a website designed, and I'd like to change the photo on the front page. I've logged into the control panel and gone to the file management centre. I have located the file and have clicked 'edit'. It's not as easy as just copy and pasting the hosted image. There are several pages worth of special characters- %,£, arrows etc. There is no English/html. Any ideas how to change it?

when a cut wont heal?

I stepped on a piece of broken glass about a week and a half ago. We immediately got it out, but it still hasnt healed. Now, it keeps opening up and bleeding. What should I do to help it heal?

has this ever happened to any dog breeders b4?

we have this white pit bull and he is about 90% white and has big patches of circles on him and in those circles are brindle. and he mated with a female rotti 2 times and each time there was not one puppy that came out white. all the puppies were either tan, brindle or red. i thought that it was so wierd the only white that they got on them was on the chest and on the paws and a little line between there eyes. has any of ur dogs had puppies that didnt look like any of there parents or had any of the colors? i just thought that it was wierd.

My over the range microwave just died....?

It's only about 1 year old. It was right the middle of running and I opened the door - when I turned around it was dead. No power, no light, nothing.

I tried flipping the breaker switch but it's like there's no power getting to it.

Any ideas? Surely a microwave wouldn't die after a year of use.....

Why do Americans thing the English Language is theirs?

Every American I have ever met think that the English Language was made by them and therefore is theirs. Some even say, 'oh, why dont you speak english properly like us and not put a u in colour,' it is really irritating, if you just look at the name of the language, it is called English, NOT American, which is what you call it sometimes!!!

Has anyone stayed at the Palm Terrace Villas in St. John USVI?

I will be going to St. John USVI in June. Can anyone give me any information on these villa's? I'm wondering if they have a washer, dryer included, if it is in a nice area? If it is within walking distance to restaurants, etc.?

What makes e so fundamental?

I'm a mathematician, so I am obviously blown out of the water by the beauty of Euler's Identity (e^(i*pi)+1=0).

When explaining this incredible fact to people, it's pretty easy to get them to buy that 0,1,i, and pi are fundamental numbers to mathematics. But e is more subtle. Yes, I understand its value, and many of its amazing properties, but they're a bit harder to convey (calculus feels less fundamental than algebra or geometry).

My question is: If you could sum up the beauty and fundamental importance of e in one or two sentences, what would they be?

Seatbelt warning light illuminates on 1991 Infiniti G20?

Where is the seatbelt warning sensor on a 1991 Infiniti G20? I notice my warning light and chime go off and wonder if the sensor has gone bad or is it a relay switch. It doesn't seem to do it with the passenger seat, just the driver's seat. I wonder how do you fix it besides unplugging the fuse, which I would like to avoid. Thanks for the help.

External hard drive not working?

Hi everyone,

I have got a problem with my external hard disk. When I plug it in to the USB, the device is recognised, but before the system reads the files and show the hard disk as a storage device in "My Computer", it comes up with an error message, saying that "hardware may have problems" etc (I tried it in 3 computers so far, and the above message appeared on one of them). I suspect that the problem occured when I had a "critical system error", that resulted in my computer to shut down instantly, and while my hard disk was connected and operating - playing music - (the hard disk was working properly until I got this error -when I rebooted my system the disk was not working so I presume something such as disk corruption happened then -).

Any ideas what the problem could be and how to solve it? Is it the disk or could be a disk case connectivity failure?

I would like first to retrieve all my files from the disk, and secondly to get it work again!

Would you like ethnic fashion to make a comeback?

Ethnic fashion, the world over, had been worn millennia before the British Empire gave us their button-down shirts, tailored trousers, coats and frocks etc. As far as men's fashions are concerned, little has changed. Women's fashion has, on the other hand, evolved considerably.

I was just thinking, wouldn’t it be nice if, for example, Indian, Chinese, Javanese, Native American, Central American, or Persian fashion could be the main fashion, for a change? Of course there are many other wonderful cultures out there. I can’t possibly list them all.

Well, for every conservative person out there, I'm sure there are many others who want adventure. Your answers, please.

Chalkboard Paint...?

I want to paint the front of my refrigerator with chalkboard paint. Right now it is painted blue. My question is where do I find chalkboard paint? Also if anyone has any tips or hints about using it please let me know... Thanks :)
