It could possibly be an ear infection or just trauma (like sticking something down your ear canal). The brown fluid might be blood. Either way, you should definitely take her to the doctor. If ever there is blood coming out of your ear, its not normal, and should be seen by a doctor.

It sounds like wax build up, take her to an ear, nose and throat doctor who can flush her ear and give her some drops to help with the pain. Hope she feels better soon.

I think xou should go and ask your GP Karen.....
It doesn´t sound very pleasant and I am afraid if it hurts and brown stuff is coming out of yuor daughter where it shouldn´t be, then a trip to the docs is in order...

The brown fluid could be dried blood. Stop wasting time asking here and go to a doctor's.

Sounds like earwax. Does she have a fever? When you get a fever it causes the earwax to melt and drain. It has a brown color. It does not however cause pain. She needs to be seen.
