I am doing an assignment on Sydney's gay & lesbian Mardi Gras and was curious as to whether is occured (Shrove Tuesday) within Australia's peak tourist season?

Please excuse me, but I was wondering where I might find this information? also any credible sources of information on the event and its impacts would be fantastic.

Are you the type of person that takes a bite off their fork and uses their lips rather than their teeth, as to not leave behind any food on the fork that clumps up and looks pretty gross? I am, but my husband isn't. I love him and accept him for who he is- it's this fork thing that he does LOL! ...And this is a pet peeve I've had since I was really young (a kid). It looks really gross! LOL We were eating biscuits and gravy thismorning- if you get the picture... If you've had a similiar experience with pet peeves and trying to not let them bother you, especially with someone so close (spouse, boyfriend, family member...) PLEASE let me know a good way to let it not bother you as much!

i was in hospital after collapsin with low blood pressure, i was asked if i was pregnant 2 wich i replied no. after a nurse felt my tummy i heard her mention 2 sum1 i felt pregnant. wot i **** understand was that even if i was (which i very much doubt) i cud only b 3wks gon at the most, wud the nurse realy have been able 2 tell by feelin my tummy this early on. i provided a urine sample and the test came back negative, that result was delivered by a different nurse as the one who had felt my stomac had finished her shift. now im very confused. help!!!

i just had an MRI and it came back clear, but i dont think thats right i just dont fee right my body is telling me differently and i am worried i have a tumor but my doctors aren't looking cose enough. i am not sure what to do.

I had my friend spend the weekend with us. First of all he was acting different, moving his pants around letting his sotmache show which he never does. But he sat behind her with his legs spread wide open and she kept scooting closer and finally put her leg almost in between his, i saw him look and he did not move. When i told him i saw what happend he say's that it didn't register in his mind. First of all he is very jealous, he wants to no everything, i dont understand why he sat down behind her in the first place, and i tell him what if i did that to you with one of your friends in our house and i said " i'm sorry honey it didn't register in my mind" He was also so mad and yelling when i was telling him this. And he has been trying to suck up and it don't even phase me, because i no he is lieing I can't stop thinking about it and not get mad. He is lieing to me, i saw what i saw my eyes don't lie, its his mouth that is. And this is the first time something like this has ever come up

I don't think that I am narrow-minded neither do others think that about me (except you guys, who can judge someone only by reading a few words...amazing).
neither am I "so enlightened et cetera"(but I liked this reply), I know I am not perfect...but this is the difference between us: I strive for perfection. and this undoubtedly requires an objective view of ego. I mean I am criticising myself more often (and more "harder") than others because I don't want to have any kind of "mystake" or "lowering" atitudes.
and for those who think that I am a "want-to-be-god"-like, then you're not wrong entirely...I am my own god, but not yours.
and yes...my first question was to know your reaction, the result: although I didn't tell that you are all narrow-minded, you understood it as you wanted to or you felt offended who-knows-why (yes...sarcastic).
So i might sometimes express my disgust towards those who are not striving for perfection (yes,I know that perfection doesn't exist).

Im interested in this girl, but am a bit nervous about asking her out anywhere cos we work together.

What i was thinking of doing was asking her closest friend at work (my friend aswell but very close to her - he's gay) if she has a boyfriend, and also to keep it quiet that i asked.

I know he wont keep the secret, and would mention it to her, it might make it a little easier to ask her out.??????

There is already this running joke that im her boyfriend, cos i stood up for her against an idiot at work, and we get on well. But im worried i may be made a fool of cos i took a joke for real. Even she mentions it, coming up to me mentioing whole b/f g/f joke. She even said she was my girl at a work party, but may have just been part of this joke. (its not a mean joke at me)

So yeah would it be good or bad me sorta spreading my own rumour, or should i just go to her and hope. Im not very confident on asking girls out but extremely confident on getting close, flirting and all that
