Hi, just by being there for them and being a good listener, don`t try to comfort them by trying to say the right thing as this usually comes out wrong, things like `You can have another baby` or `your baby is an Angel in Heaven really do not work, as the grieving parent wants their baby here and now.

The only explanation I have for still born babies is that they are the sweetest of Gods Angles. God chose them to be with him now rather than later an spared them possible suffering we do not know what they could have been in for in this life. And that if it is Gods will we must accept it even though we don't understand. I can't imagine nor do I want to know how it feels to lose a child. All you can do is be there for them if they need you and try once they have grieved a healthy period to help return them to normal social behaviors. Be an ear to hear, a shoulder to cry on is about all you can do.

well the worse thing you can say its going to be alright because right at that time its not alright or you can always try for another, she will always be aching for that baby. my advice is to tell her to let it all out take how ever long to grieve. let her no that you'll support her. hope she'll be OK.
