My son is 27 months old, and in the process of potty training. My problem is this....no matter how consistant I am, he will do marvelous (staying dry all day, even nap times, even doing #2 in the potty...even stays dry during naps.) for about three or four days,and then he will have about two days, where he REFUSES to use the potty. Then he will go three or four more days on the potty. I am a young(22) single mother with sole custody. My mother helps me with him alot, and even she said that none of the other kids in the family did like that. What am I doing wrong, or what should I do differantly? I know all kids develope this skill at differant paces, but im at a loss as to why the gap. Could he just be stubborn? Also, with a house full of females(myself, my mother, and my sister) my son wants to sit down to pee alot of the time. He just recently, after a visit to my brothers house, discovered standing up to pee.....how do i encourage the standing up?

The beginning of the week he was energetic and well rounded in his weight as he normally would. But today i find him sleeping too much and when i pick him up i can feel every bone. This is NOT NORMAL FOR MY CAT..... Whats happening? I feed him properly and he goes to the vet when he is suppose to. And No he is not sick. So whats going on with my cat?
Help me please.....

approved of anything he wanted to do. I said well, what if he bumps you and knocks out a tooth or pokes out an eye. She didn't see any harm in "playing". We're looking at the fine with a cool interior and the wife seems to be excited about it. But I read reviews of door looks going out, along with the a/c, brakes, and some very major mechanical repairs that worry me. Some people swear by them, others hate em. I plan to get it checked out by my mechanic and buy a carfax history on it. But before all--should i think about buying it anyway?

I've ben confused on how to feel lately so I need your guys advice!

Okay so on Wednesday I have to go to Calorado to celebrate Christmas with my Republican cousins, aunt, and uncle. I have a problem with almost every person in the family I will be with. THe cousins are obnoxious, spoiled, thick-headed, and just plain UGH. The uncle is a sexist, racist, and homophobic jerk. (If he says the things he says here in the Bay Area he would be in trouble; They live in a VERY white part of Texas.)

Well, not only am I spending Christmas unwillingly, but I know Christmas Day they will have more presents and make fun of my sister and me. They are extremley rich. We live in the Bay Area so it costs more. I don't want them talking behind my back say "They got so little presents" or just not knowing how happy I am with my life and how this trip will make me miserable. I just wish you knew how bad they were- Thanks!
