I assume you know how to find your way to the North South (NS) Highway in Malaysia. Drive along the highway all the way. Just after the Kajang exit and before the Sg Besi toll plaza, there is this exit called UPM. Exit there, through the toll plaza, make a right at the junction immediately after the plaza.. you'll be on another highway, think its called BESRAYA highway. Stay on it follow directions to KL (just go straight generally) you'll hit another toll plaza. After the toll plaza look for the signboard that says Ampang or Kuantan.. follow that and stay on the highway until you see signboard that says Genting Highlands. You'll pass by a lot of housing estates eg. Pandan Indah, Taman Cempaka, Bukit Antarabangsa, etc You'll even drive by an exit for Zoo Negara... don't panic it's going to be quite a long drive...

enter Malaysia either through Causeway or Tuas 2nd link.. then enter the north-bound expressway towards Kuala Lumpur direction.. Upon KL, you will be able to find the direction on the signboards to Genting.. there's only one way up, lots of directions on the way, don't worry.. have a happy trip, Genting is very cooling during this period, maybe 20C only.. do bring thick enough clothes if you are scared of cold..

If it is your first driving trip up to Genting from Singapore, better to take a coach / tour bus. (Go to Golden Mile complex or even Lavender MRT Station or even refer to the newspapers to check out tours available.) Befriend the coach driver and/or tour leader and let him show you the route. This way, you will surely reach Genting.
