Christmas and all other holidays are only ideas. They only exist as long as we CHOOSE for them to. I for one love the idea of festive decorating, giving gifts, spending a day gorging with the family and giving Jesus a Happy Birthday wish.

Should I not enjoy such a holiday?

A Judge in Canada had the Christmas tree in the court lobby taken down because it might challenge someones religious sensibilities, a firestorm of protest erupted. They missed the point, the Christmas or Yule tree was a pagan right brought from Germany (Prince Albert's gift for Queen Vicky), to celebrate the coming greening from the white cold of winter.
Even the Vatican has a christmas tree now. Proves they are still in the business of subverting other religious practices to supplant them, like a good corporate takeover from within. e.g. Making pagan events into christian holidays. (Like the method of calculating the date for easter (ouester, time of the egg or fertility right)). Christmas replaced winter solstice, (No proof JC was born on Dec 25th.)

I'm afraid you are wasting your time asking a question when you don't want an answer. There is no way a person can celebrate Christmas without ever believing in Jesus Christ. Unless you are asking about Xmas, now that your can explain without making reference to the Bible or religion.

Yes I believe in the spirit of it.

Peace on earth, good will towards mankind. Spending time with family. Appreciating the ones you love not by the expense of a gift but by the thoughtfulness that went into choosing or making it.

Everything I listed, in my opinion, is WORTH believing in and we would be a whole lot better off if we believed in it all year instead of one day a year.

Yes. I believe in Christmas. Right date or not, Christmas marks the birth of Christ. CHRISTmas. Retailers have taken advantage of the gift giving part.
