your monitor must have the highest Hz

so is your monitor display with i.e. 5Hz it will be like a stroboscope in disco ant kill your eyes

and is it is around 120Hz you will feal more nice, it will get like a nice picture ;)

CRT monitors actually work by refreshing the pixels over and over again and when the refresh rate is set too low, it can cause headaches because of the almost undetectable flicker. LCDs and Plasma screens do not deal with refresh the same way, so they are much easier on your eyes.

These days, I don't see any reason to buy a CRT monitor - buy an LCD or Plasma screen and you'll be fine.

Don't buy another monitor. Just buy computer filter screen. MUCH BETTER ON YOUR EYES! Actually makes words and images more distinct as well. 3M makes them and can get them for not a bad price.

lcd, because flat on flat screen view "blinks". it blinks so many times in a minute that you mostly can't see it, but your eyes get tired a lot. and on lcd it works in some different way.

I think LCD's are, simply because you don't have to strain and they are glare-free. Some LCD's also come in HD in them. I've seen a few.

lcd/flat panel are the same..they are better for your eyes cuz they produce less radiation..your eyes are red because probably you like to read in a dark..that's what kills your eyes
